Toilets, one object in our home that is used daily. An object that can have many issues if not cared for properly. Sometimes the most common toilet issues can cause the most issues if not solved correctly. This is why we are going to share with you the most common toilet issues and how you can fix them.

Blocked Toilet
Possibly the most common toilet issue you can think of is the toilet becoming blocked. Most commonly caused by an excessive amount of toilet paper being used.
The easiest way to prevent this issue from occurring is to simply stop putting an excessive amount of tissue down the toilet. As well as being careful with what is being placed down the toilet.
The most efficient way to unclog a blocked toilet is by using a plunger. This helping to lodge free the blockage, allowing water to flow freely. You can also use a bleach-based toilet cleaner to help break down the blockage.

Low Water Level
Another common toilet issue is low water levels in the toilet bowl. Your water level after the bowl has finished filling after a flush should be 1 inch below the overflow tube. If it is any more than this, you have low water levels.
There are many reasons why this may be caused. The main reason being that the tank fill tube may be damaged or placed incorrectly meaning the bowl is not filling correctly.
The easiest way to solve this issue is to replace or reposition the fill tube so it fills directly into the overflow tube. You may also need to adjust the float in your toilet tank if the tank is not filling with enough water.

These are the two main common toilet issues and how you can fix them. We would love to know any other issues you would like us to talk about.
